About us

Jason

Jason started working in estate agency in 1989 at the age of 17.  Working within a very busy office in Derby city centre gradually working his way up to the position of sales manager.  Then after about 10 years, he decided to try his hand as a mortgage advisor mainly within estate agents in Derby and the surrounding areas.  By 2009 he decided to go back into selling houses at Reeds Rains in Derby where he started working with Paul.

Now Jason has teamed up with Paul to bring you, Hopkins & Dainty, where customer service will be paramount with sound advice from the valuation of your property, getting the best price for your home and making sure your sale progresses to exchange of contracts as quickly as possible.

During his spare time, Jason enjoys walking his three dogs, Berta, Rocket and Dizzy and fussing/irritating his five cats!  He also likes entertaining his family and friends.

Paul

Paul has been working in estate agency since 1997 and is also a regular contributor to the BBC One programme “Homes Under The Hammer”.

After an initial period with an independent estate agent, he joined Halifax Estate Agents in 1998, in Nottingham. During the following 13 years, he worked at branches all over Nottingham and Derbyshire as he worked his way up from a sales negotiator to property valuer and eventually branch manager. In 2011 he joined Reeds Rains working in Derby and Burton On Trent, to further his local knowledge and experience.

Paul is now keen to put all this experience and years of learning to full use, by going into business with Jason. Together, they aim to provide an estate agency service that is second to none, with a blend of high street expertise and online efficiency. Knowing full well that customers want an agent they can easily contact, whether it’s during the working day, in the evening or at the weekend. Hopkins & Dainty Estate Agents will be working hard for you.

When he’s not at work, Paul enjoys time with his family, walking his dogs in the local countryside and watching his boys play sport.
